How do I brand my helpdesk?

Admins can change the design of the helpdesk in Admin Settings under Help Center. There are 4 items under the Help Center menu option.

  1. Visit help center brings you to the contact-facing knowledge base.
  2. Design is where you can choose from existing background images or change the help center background color or text colors. 
  3. Settings is where the available layouts can be set. Any content displayed on the help center (text or custom HTML) can be set here.
  4. Knowledge base is where topics and articles can be created and edited. Note this feature is only available in Enterprise plan and above.

On this page, admins can choose a background theme, and change the colors of the background and the links.

The logo, layout, content, welcome message or custom HTML can be set on this page.

For existing users, there are two options for layout, Classic and Modicon. The Classic layout is no longer available. New users will only have the option to use the Modicon layout. Click on "Customize" in oder to change the settings.

Tip: While you can upload a logo to the help center through the UI, the uploaded image will only appear in the upper left corner next to the help desk name. Admins can add a larger logo to the Help Center by putting custom code in the "Portal Main Content." The "News Column Content" also supports HTML.
