How to tickets with a due date to Google Calendar
Integrating Mojo Helpdesk with Google Calendar to create events from tickets with due dates is achievable through Zapier, a third-party automation service. This functionality leverages the application programming interface (API), and therefore, an active Mojo Helpdesk plan with API access is required.
To configure this integration, follow these steps in the Zapier platform:
- Set up the trigger
- On the Zapier app, create a new zap
- Choose Mojo Helpdesk as the trigger app
- Select the trigger event: New ticket with Scheduled Date or New ticket with Due Date, depending on your needs
- Connect your Mojo Helpdesk account by entering your API access key, which you can find in your user profile settings in Mojo Helpdesk
- Set up the action
- Choose Google Calendar as the action app.
- Select the action event: Create Detailed Event
- Pick the Google Calendar where events should be added
- Map fields:
- Match fields from the Mojo Helpdesk ticket to the Google Calendar event:
- Ticket title → Event summary
- Ticket description → Event description
- Queue or group name → Event location (optional)
- Match fields from the Mojo Helpdesk ticket to the Google Calendar event:
Once set up, new tickets with scheduled or due dates in Mojo Helpdesk will automatically create detailed events in your chosen Google Calendar.
