Securing the Knowledge Base

The Knowledge Base can be activated or deactivated by navigating to Admin settings > Help center & knowledge base > Settings.

In the Settings interface, the Knowledge Base visibility can be configured according to the following options:

  • Disable the display of the Knowledge Base entirely, by selecting “Don’t show the knowledge base.”.
  • Display the Knowledge Base in the Help Center for authenticated users exclusively, by selecting “Display knowledge base in the Help Center for logged in users only.”
  • Display the Knowledge Base in the Help Center for all users by selecting “Display knowledge base in the Help Center for all users.”

Domain-Specific Access Control

To restrict access to users possessing email addresses from specified domain names (e.g., your-organization.com), administrators must configure a whitelist of permitted domains in the Admin settings > Account > Security page in the White & blacklists section.
