Mojo Helpdesk supports keyboard navigation across the agent portal and user portal, allowing users to complete support workflows without a mouse.

General Keyboard Navigation

The following keys are used to navigate the interface:

  • *Tab * — move forward through interactive elements
  • *Shift + Tab * — move backward through interactive elements
  • *Enter * — activate a link or button
  • *Space * — check or uncheck a checkbox; activate a button
  • *Arrow keys * — navigate within dropdowns, menus, and radio button groups
  • *Escape * — close a modal, dropdown, or overlay

Skip Navigation

A hidden "Skip to main content" link appears at the top of every page when keyboard focus is active. Press Tab ** once after loading any page to reveal it, then press Enter ** to jump directly to the main content area and bypass the navigation.

When composing a ticket reply or description, the rich text editor toolbar is not included in the default Tab order. Pressing Tab moves focus directly into the editor content area.

To access formatting options in the toolbar via keyboard:

  • Mac: Option + Shift + F10

Once the toolbar is focused, use Left/Right arrow keys ** to move between toolbar buttons and Enter  or Space  to activate them. Press Escape ** to return focus to the editor content area.

  2. Use arrow keys ** or number keys 1–5 ** to select a rating
  3. Tab to the Submit button and press *Enter * to confirm

Keyboard Shortcuts

Mojo Helpdesk includes keyboard shortcuts for common agent actions using sequential key combinations. To view all available shortcuts, press *0 * from anywhere in the agent portal outside a form field. This opens the keyboard shortcuts help modal with the full list.

Keyboard shortcuts can be disabled via Profile Settings → Keyboard Shortcuts.
